Experimental contemporary art that can be experienced deep in the forest
Deep Forest Art Land is not located where most people occasionally pass by. But it is definitely worth the drive. Deep Forest Art Land offers over 80 unique and experimental community art works that must be touched and experienced deep in nature.
A marked trail course of 3 km takes you all the way around. You can experience more than 80 unique artworks. More are continuously joining. There are two loops around, so if you have very small feet on the trip, you can just take one loop around.
It is free to visit the place. But one can gladly see that visitors give a donation to the project. The project is on private land and privately operated.
Deep Art Forest Land is the first exhibition space of its kind in Denmark.
There is no possibility to buy food and drinks on site. So pack the lunchbox and fill the water bottle, because it's easy to spend a lot of time exploring.
It is possible to get around with a stroller with a little good will.
The art cemetery is a quite special experience, where crooked and not necessarily beautiful artworks are buried. Art can be so many things. And that is experienced in Deep Forest Art Land.
