Hald Ege Miniature Zoo is a small zoological garden.

The place has two smaller halls with animals and plants that you normally find in subtropical rainforests.

Hald Ege Mini Forest is primarily aimed at younger children. There is an opportunity to pet rabbits, guinea pigs, and goats, see turtles and birds. There are no big wild animals here. The main attraction is probably the silk monkeys, swinging around in the rainforest palms and ropes in one of the rainforest halls. Men for the youngest, the most time is usually spent with the rabbits and guinea pigs, just as the bird nests with the small bird eggs can also be observed for a long time.

Outside, there are swings, rabbits, chickens, goats, and a nice little garden. There are tables and benches where the packed lunch can be enjoyed while the children play.

Although Hald Ege Mini Forest is not very large, as the name also suggests, younger children can easily spend several hours there. So remember the lunchbox and the water bottle. The place is small and manageable, making it especially suitable for children, young people, and adults who want to experience something but find large places difficult. The entrance fee is also affordable for most.

Hald Ege Mini Forest was established in 2004 in collaboration with the Botanical Garden in Aarhus. The place is a combined tourist attraction and a protected workplace for adults with physical or mental disabilities. The employees on site take care of the animals and plants. And they are happy to offer children the chance to pet a turtle or proudly show it around.
